Basic Studio Example

This example creates Arcane Orbit, a purple and cyan effect with circular character movement, a moving brightness wave and a white shine.

Layer stack​

Add these layers in order.

1. Gradient Colour​

Speed: 0.55
Colours: #180033, #783CFF, #FF55DD, #55E7FF

2. Orbit Motion​

Speed: 0.85
Strength: 0.65
Spread: 0.35

Each character follows its own circular path. Spread offsets neighbouring characters, so the full word can also look wave-like.

3. Fade Wave​

Speed: 1.00
Minimum: 0.55
Maximum: 1.20
Spacing: 0.40

4. Shine Sweep​

Speed: 0.90
Width: 0.12
Strength: 0.80
Colour: #FFFFFF

Install and test​

Download the example, place it in plugins/TextEffect/custom-effects/, then run:

/texteffect reload
/texteffect validate
/texteffect zip

After applying the rebuilt resource pack, test it with:

/texteffect test arcaneorbit Arcane Orbit
