Projects and Node Groups
Advanced Studio keeps an automatic draft in the current browser. You can also save named projects and reusable node groups.
Saved projects
Click Save project to store the current effect and graph viewport.
Open Projects to load or delete a saved project. Projects remain in the current browser and device, so export a .texteffect file when you need a backup.
Copy and paste
Select one or more nodes, then use the toolbar or keyboard controls to copy and paste them.
Connections between copied nodes are preserved. New node IDs are created automatically when the nodes are pasted.
Reusable node groups
Select at least two connected nodes and click Save as group.
Enter a name and description. The group then appears under the Node groups tab and can be inserted into another Advanced effect.
A saved group keeps:
- Its selected nodes
- Node controls and literal values
- Relative node positions
- Connections between the selected nodes
Node groups are an editor feature. They expand into normal safe nodes and connections before export, so the plugin does not need a separate group format.
Like saved projects, node groups stay in the current browser and device.
