Admin Tools

TextEffect includes admin commands for creating animated text without editing YAML by hand.

Signs​

Use this command while looking at a sign:

/texteffect sign <line> <text>

Example:

/texteffect sign 1 <r>Welcome to Spawn</r>
/texteffect sign 2 <g>Event Shop</g>

This bypasses the vanilla sign editor length limit because TextEffect updates the sign directly.

Items​

Hold an item and run:

/texteffect item name <g>Legendary Trophy</g>
/texteffect item lore add <neb>Won during Mining Rush</neb>
/texteffect item lore set 1 <love>Special Reward</love>
/texteffect item lore clear
